LeAnn Rimes Archives

I have actually two good news for those who’ve been coveting the Diane von Furstenberg Stephanie Medium Hobo. The first good news is that it’s now available at Shopbop.com! LeAnn Rimes favorite woven bag can now be snagged in four available versions—Gold Metallic, Silver Metallic, Metallic Twilight, and Black Metallic.

The Diane von Furstenberg Stephanie Medium Hobo is still celebrities’ favorite woven purse at the moment. Take a look at how LeAnn Rimes was still toting it while in St. Barts over the Holidays:

Here’s the Gold Metallic version for a closer look:

So what’s your favorite version among the four that I’ve mentioned? Mine would have to be the Silver Metallic. I like the Gold Metalic version for its warm hue, but I love the Silver Metallic variation because I find it more gorgeous and fitting for winter. The light the steely silver brings would look great against dark winter wool coats, and would give the dreary atmosphere a more cheery feel.

But whatever version you choose, I have to say that this bag is amazing overall! The metallic leather is a work of art, and it’s fantastic how the metallic peeks through when you move the bag. It’s great design and functionality rolled into one. The Diane von Furstenberg Stephanie Medium Hobo is truly a definite must-have, so grab it while it’s still available, because I’m sure it’ll sell out soon.

Don’t think I have forgotten to tell you the second good news, because I’m on to that next. Here it is: for those who love the glamorous design and fantastic functionality of the Diane von Furstenberg Stephanie Medium Hobo, yet find its price too hard on the wallet, here’s a close look-alike for you—the High Fashion 5664 Woven Hobo:

It’s a close call, also great-looking, and—best of all—it comes at a fraction of the Diane von Furstenberg Stephanie Medium Hobo.

So grab what suits you. Either way, you’ll look fabulous and chic.

While LeeAnn Rimes is still very much under public scrutiny for her controversial hook-up with current boyfriend Eddie Cibrian, that just doesn’t stop her from getting fab with her Diane von Furstenberg Stephanie Large Gold Bag.

LeeAnn globe-trotted with this celebrities’ current favorite purse. She was seen shopping in Malibu, CA with her Diane von Furstenberg purse just a few days ago, and was also spotted making her way through an airport in Canada with said purse in tow. Here’s a closer look at the Diane von Furstenberg Stephanie Large Gold Bag:

I must admit that this purse looks appealing. The knitted metallic leather is unique and eye-catching, while the slouchy hobo style makes for an easy wear. And if you’re into purses that hold a lot of stuff, then this purse is certainly made for you. I’m not sure, though, if you still feel that way when you finally take a look at the current price tag. The medium version of this purse is available at dvf.com for a whopping $875.00. So if the price is quite damaging to your wallet yet you still want a purse that looks like the Diane von Furstenberg Stephanie Large Gold Bag, you may want to take a look at these stunning and less-expensive woven purses I’ve found for you:

Clockwise from top left: DKNY Woven Large Shopper, $276.25; Nine West Melinda Large Hobo, $44.50; Francesco Biasia Claire Medium Shoulder, $74.00; Elliott Lucca Handbags Angeline Tote, $99.00.

You can grab these amazing purses at 6pm.com.

LeAnn Rimes is a Buff Bottega Babe

Singer LeAnn Rimes was spotted last April 7, exiting the Hollywood Palladium after a practice for her performance the next day, a Diane Warren tribute.

This is actually my first time to see LeAnn in a skin revealing outfit, and boy is she buff! She sure did a good job of disposing all that baby fat. Just check out those toned arms, thighs, and legs!

Anyway, I do have one comment. I wish she had at least put on a sleeved top. There’s just too much skin going on, it makes her look like she’s going to the beach.

That aside, the wide collared sandals on her feet are divine; love the pair and would love to have it.  I also like the way she matched the all black outfit with a light yellow woven Bottega Veneta Hobo; a nice pop of color is always good.

The woven Bottega Veneta bag on LeAnn is actually one of the brand’s iconic pieces. It may have a simple silhouette, but the intricacy lies in the woven material. This particular bag currently costs US$1950. If you have the money to spend for it, you can get one from Bottega’s online store.

But if you want the look without the hefty pricetag, I suggest you get a Helen Kaminski creation. Helen Kaminski is also known for making quality woven bags both in native and leather materials. The prices are not cheap, but definitely much lower than that of Bottega’s.

For example, a woven leather Helen Kaminski Satchel such as the one below will cost you US$775, while a woven leather Helen Kaminski Tote such as the fringed piece below can run up to US$725. That’s more than 50% less than the Bottega above. And the good thing about Helen Kaminski bags is that they are all well made.
