Here’s another beautiful woven purse from Bottega Veneta that we found at Bergdorf Goodman:

Bottega Veneta Corniola Fringed Woven Tote

The Bottega Veneta Corniola Fringed Woven tote is a woven purse that has fringe detailing. We think the bag is a funkier version of Charlize Theron’s Bottega Veneta tote bag.

The bag is made of Bottega’s signature woven supple leather , but it has fringes all over the body. Even the handles are woven with gun-metal hardware.

The bag is currently on pre-order status and will be shipped in the next few months. It sells for $4, 850.

We usually prefer purses in classic shapes, made of supple leather, with minimal or understated accents. When we see bags with multiple details, we really evaluate if it’s the kind of bag that we can use for a long time. Let’s face it, handbag prices are hardly friendly these days; so we want the bag to give us the most bang for our buck.

Today, we found this Gucci purse in Bluefly:

The bag has a weave detailing in the front as well as the handle. It has a belt and lock closure, with goldtone hardware. The bag also has a detachable tag with an embossed vintage Gucci logo. It hardly exudes a mimimal aesthetic, but we like it. We can see ourselves carrying this purse with an all black ensemble. This baby sells for the Bluefly price of $3,360.

When it comes to the handbag recommendations that I received, I’m digging majority of them and this woven number is one of my favorites.

It’s called the Lagos, and what makes it unique from the other woven bags out there is that the woven portion isn’t on the body of the handbag, but on the handles. Its handles are actually made of woven chain and faux-leather straps—utterly stylish, isn’t it? The chain and leather are so perfect together and fit each other to a T that they look seamless. I love the shapely form and the pleats that make it so feminine. And as you can see on the photo below, it also has a roomy interior and plenty of pockets.

Aside from the woven straps, it also sports detachable crossbody straps for that easier wear.
