The fanny pack was back in trend a few years ago and we’re sure they would make another comeback in a couple more years. We honestly think it would be nice to have one beautiful waist pack in one’s closet for days when one’s activity will require one to have have her hands free. A nice belt bag (yup, we used the word belt bag. 
) in leather, in the right size, would be a good purchase.
We found a leather and nylon waist bag in Bluefly and it’s by no less than Bottega Veneta, but for $840 we’re unsure about this bag:

This waist pack will probably last forever which means we can make use of it every time the fanny pack goes back in style, but we still don’t think we’re willing to fork over that much money on such a bag.
The bag’s exterior is made of leather and nylon. The front has basket weave leather with a zip. The main compartment is lined with nylon as you can see in this photo:

The bag is actually two-toned: black and dark brown. The bag measures approximately 12” at widest x 6½” tall at center x 2” deep; weighs 0.5 lbs.

Dakota Fanning was photographed leaving a Los Angeles gym last Saturday (August 29) with a straw tote from Marc by Marc Jacobs.
The bag, called Rosa tote, is now sold out online. It used to be sold in the following online stores: Shopbop, Endless, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Bergdorf Goodman.

Kristin Cavallari had lunch at the Spanish Kitchen in Hollywood last Monday (August 22).
