Cameron Diaz’ Salon Trip with Woven Crossbody Bag

Last week, actress Cameron Diaz went to grab a cold drink after her salon trip at the Byron and Tracey Salon in Beverly Hills.

The actress wore skinny pants, a white tank top, a gray jacket, and ankle boots. The actress seems to have brought a lot of stuff with her because she carried a big crossbody bag.

The bag is called the Bottega Veneta Opera Intrecciato. It is already sold out online so we just checked Bluefly for other Bottega Veneta crossbody bags.

The first one we found is boxy and is made entirely of leather with metal hardware.

The bag has a 4-star rating in the store and retails for $1,424. The bag is lined with suede and comes with a removable padlock.

All Bottega Veneta bags are made of supple leather. They may be pricey but they never go out of style so you can expect to get much use out of them.

Carey Mulligan with Classic Bottega Veneta Clutch with a Punch

Carey Mulligan was among the beautiful celebrities who attended the 15th Annual Hollywood Film Awards Gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California last week.

The actress wore a black halter dress with a bit of shimmer from the Bottega Veneta Spring 2012 collection. To complete the look, she carried a classic box clutch.

Carey’s clutch is a classic box clutch made of leather that definitely has an edgier look about it because of all the interesting details.

It also has a wrist strap that can be tucked inside. If you need to keep your hands free, you can use the wrist strap. The bag is made in Italy.

The Bottega Veneta Waist Pack: Yay or Nay?

The fanny pack was back in trend a few years ago and we’re sure they would make another comeback in a couple more years. We honestly think it would be nice to have one beautiful waist pack in one’s closet for days when one’s activity will require one to have have her hands free. A nice belt bag (yup, we used the word belt bag.  :-) ) in leather, in the right size, would be a good purchase.

We found a leather and nylon waist bag in Bluefly and it’s by no less than Bottega Veneta, but for $840 we’re unsure about this bag:

This waist pack will probably last forever which means we can make use of it every time the fanny pack goes back in style, but we still don’t think we’re willing to fork over that much money on such a bag.

The bag is actually two-toned: black and dark brown. The bag measures approximately 12” at widest x 6½” tall at center x 2” deep; weighs 0.5 lbs.
