When it comes to the handbag recommendations that I received, I’m digging majority of them and this woven number is one of my favorites.

It’s called the Lagos, and what makes it unique from the other woven bags out there is that the woven portion isn’t on the body of the handbag, but on the handles. Its handles are actually made of woven chain and faux-leather straps—utterly stylish, isn’t it? The chain and leather are so perfect together and fit each other to a T that they look seamless. I love the shapely form and the pleats that make it so feminine. And as you can see on the photo below, it also has a roomy interior and plenty of pockets.

Aside from the woven straps, it also sports detachable crossbody straps for that easier wear.

Doesn’t she look stunning? The (500) Days of Summer actress attended the event held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California in a sultry off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood dress with a striped fabric and lacy overlay, which she paired with nude Brian Atwood platform pumps. She finished her stunning evening look with a Bottega Veneta woven clutch, which looks like this up close.

Minka Kelly definitely sizzled that night. Every piece in her ensemble complemented the others nicely. The nude Brian Atwood pumps were a good choice for her lacy dress, while the Bottega Veneta clutch gave her whole look a glamorous texture. Not to mention that the taupe color of the clutch went along with the rest of her ensemble’s color theme, too.

I cannot find Minka Kelly’s exact Bottega Veneta clutch, but this Bottega Veneta Fringed Leather Mini Clutch is certainly a close call.

Demi’s woven bag is a Jimmy Choo Bali Raffia Hobo that I find so totally adorable! Do you think so, too? The woven raffia material has been considerably softened so it looks more flexible and supple. The black leather trim and the slim strap decorations on the sides are so sophisticated, and give this gorgeous bag that modern rocker-chic edge. It’s looks really elegant that not only is it appropriate for the summer, but for all seasons as well.

Sarah, pictured here with Mark Bosnich, arrived for the event in an ensemble that consisted mostly of black, save for a lively floral corset top—black blazer, black pencil skirt, and black suede cut-out boots. She finished her look with a black patent leather woven clutch.

Sarah does look nice and lovely, even if her look bordered on the safe side. I mean, you couldn’t really go wrong with black, right? So what can you say with Sarah’s woven clutch? It’s black, but it isn’t really the basic black since it’s woven. The woven element gave the clutch an edge, and added texture to Sarah’s lovely look.

We know tribal prints and patterns are hot this spring, but instead of using printed materials to come up with her collection, she used the weaving technique to create the patterns.

The tribal inspired set consists of a clutch and a tote; both feature contrast woven banding strategically interlaced to create ethnic inspired designs. To keep it modern, she accentuated the bags with metal studs.

The last time I saw her she was literally still a kid, so imagine my surprise when I saw this picture of her attending the Vanity Fair Oscar Party looking all grown up (or at least trying to be)!

She is 18 now. I wonder if she’s going to end up like her Aunt Julia when she gets older.

I would have to say she is quite the dresser, don’t you think? If you look at the picture, the dress she is wearing looks very timeless and elegant, while the low neckline gives it a strong sexy kick. Let’s not discount the fact that wearing such a neckline allows her the chance to show the world she’s a big girl now.

On another note, the blue color looks great on her pale skin. The colorful bejeweled neckpiece and copper toned peep-toes create a striking and beautiful contrast against all the blue of her dress.

Last but not least, the neutral black clutch is just the perfect purse choice to go with all the color. But more importantly, I commend her for choosing one that has more texture and story in it by going for a woven black clutch instead of the usual plain.

Altogether, I think this Emma look is a good 8 out of 10.

The new Woven Wonder Satchel is indeed quite a wonder. Just by looking at the bag, you can tell that Steve Madden devoted a good amount of time into detailing this number.

Of course, the most significant and noticeable element is the woven front panel of the bag. This woven section is made up of two types of leather, each with a different treatment – one is shirred and shiny, while the other is matte and pleated. Intertwined together, the texture it creates is definitely hard to ignore.

But wait… There’s more! Steve Madden didn’t think this was enough so  the brand decided to put more art into the bag by shirring the sides and punching metal studs into the handles; talk about detailing to the core!
